TVH is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Release Manager to join their IT Service Management (ITSM) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with a hands-on approach to navigating complex environments and ensuring seamless delivery.
The key responsibility of the Release Manager will be to manage the release process end-to-end, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines. This involves:
* Communicating release details and schedules to stakeholders as required.
* Forward planning release windows and building the IT Release Calendar by working closely with different users and maintaining a Release Calendar.
* Carrying out post-implementation reviews (PIR).
* Attending Change Management Boards and conducting Change Assurance Board meetings internally to decide on changes.
* Managing escalations to support the release process.
* Identifying and mitigating risks that can affect release scope, quality, and schedule.
* Managing dependencies and coordinating releases across different domains and stakeholders.
* Ensuring release work conforms to quality standards.
* Conducting quality checks and risk assessments on individual components of a release like release control closures, change implementation, and verification task closures.
* Planning release windows and cycles on an organizational level, across multiple business units.
As the Release Manager, you will ensure that appropriate quality steps and approvals are adhered to before releases. You will also generate and publish release builds and documentation.
To succeed in this role, you must possess strategic thinking and the ability to understand and navigate complex environments, strategies, and release processes. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to foster collaboration and ensure clear communication with diverse stakeholders.
This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain process documentation, reports, and presentations. A proven track record of working in a multinational organization with an international scope is desirable.
