Hays is urgently seeking an IT Support Engineer
for one of its valued clients.
Your new role
1. Taking an active part in incident resolution
2. Working with global support teams to resolve both IT infrastructure and application related issues.
3. Installing or participating in the installation of IT infrastructure components, applications, and any other relevant tools used at the location(s).
4. Monitoring and maintaining location specific infrastructure and applications following standard operating procedures.
5. Take an active part in location-specific and global IT projects.
6. Maintaining user accounts within locally supported applications.
7. Acting as location representative of GBS IT professionals.
8. Taking part in IT change management flows.
9. Troubleshooting IT infrastructure incidents and application errors, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
10. Maintaining the location(s) specific part of the active directory.
11. Follow global architecture-, security-, and operational standards and policies.
12. Maintaining a specific IT location within your area of responsibility.
13. Prioritizing work and operating with compliance of GBS IT Service Level Agreements.
Your profile
14. An IT Technician qualification is a must; IT Engineer or equivalent is preferred.
15. Min. 5 years work experience in the field of IT Infrastructure
16. Fluency both in the native language of supported location(s) and in English is a must.
17. Show eagerness to learn and further develop yourself professionally.
18. ITIL Certification Be (Education knowledge)
19. Exposure to and understanding of a manufacturing environment.
20. Experience in basic Vendor management processes.
