AWS is seeking an Executive Assistant for a 12 months contract. We are looking for a proactive, customer obsessed and team-oriented Executive Assistant to support the AWS Public Policy team in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), based in Brussels. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. The candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, fluid environment, while maintaining great flexibility and composure. The candidate will work autonomously on projects as required and possess the ability to complete a high volume of tasks.
This role will support the Amazon Web Services Public Policy team with administrative tasks such as working with the finance and legal team to open purchase orders, pay invoices, manage contracts, as well as travel coordination, and scheduling. Key to the position is the ability to be organized, understand business and team priorities, and to anticipate needs proactively while also serving as a resource for members of this geographically dispersed team. The right candidate will be client-service oriented, have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines, and the ability to easily switch gears.
Key job responsibilities
•Responsible for 3 directors within the AWS Public Policy organization.
• Manage purchase orders and invoices for vendors.
• Effectively and proactively support multiple senior members of the team in regards to calendar, scheduling, and travel.
• Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure action required is addressed in a timely manner.
• Help organize, execute, and assist with team activities and events (staff meeting agendas, off-sites, and team social events).
• Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items (including meeting notes and action items).
• Work closely with the leadership team, recruiting, and others to provide support to the organization.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience assisting at the executive level in a fast-paced environment, to include an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word and experience planning executive Domestic and International travel
- Experience managing multiple executives’ calendars
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree
