Job Summary
Data Governance Lead Analyst based in São Paulo, Brazil or Bangalore, India. This position reports to the Data Governance Manager and focuses on improving the data governance framework for the Kenvue Finance domain.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide thought leadership to improve data governance framework for Kenvue Finance domain and support governance activities such as establishing policies and standards, building metrics and periodic review, closing gaps in processes and workflows, enhancements of related tools, etc.
* Establish and maintain global data standards and governance of Product and other Finance master data dimensions. Define roles and responsibilities along with accountability expectations for everyone involved in creation and maintenance of master data.
* Maintain documentation such as Data Standards, Data Dictionary, Work/Process Flows, Desktop Procedures (DTPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) to support the execution of Master Data maintenance across environments/tools.
* Manage the run‑state intake process for master data/mappings/hierarchies, capture and document requirements and outcomes, run governance forums, and implement across environments by thoroughly understanding the data model and Kenvue ecosystem.
* Identify gaps in process, recommend controls, and implement solutions.
* Manage design, provide enhancement requirements, perform testing of master data workflow tools (MDG, PowerApps flows, SharePoint forms, etc.) to ensure controls are in place within applications for data integrity and seamless handoffs between systems.
* Define rules for data quality checks, review defects, establish defect resolution process flows, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve and adoption/adherence of CIM design.
* Build training materials and lead training sessions for data owners and teams involved in the process flows. Manage existing materials and training content.
* Support ad hoc finance‑related projects as well as establishing new and/or improving existing processes, along with ad hoc user queries.
* Share best practices and knowledge with peers and team members to empower and upskill.
Qualifications
* A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably within finance, accounting, or business.
* A minimum of 8+ experience in finance/supply chain/SAP or master data/governance required.
* Experience in data quality rule creation, maintenance, and remediation is required.
* Understanding of master‑data, data/mapping/hierarchies and flow between multiple environments required.
* Proficiency with SharePoint, intermediate to advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI required.
* Understanding of SAP, Alteryx, Knime, Python, Microsoft Visio preferred.
* Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast‑paced working environment, develop strong business partnerships, and experience in ad‑hoc analysis is required.
