What's This Role About
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Specialist to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, improve testing processes, and ensure that our SaaS solutions meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Planning and Execution:
* Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.
* Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.
* Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and acceptance criteria.
2. Automation and Process Improvement:
* Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
* Identify areas for automation within the testing process and implement solutions.
* Enhance and refine QA processes to ensure thorough test coverage and faster releases.
3. Bug Identification and Reporting:
* Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking systems.
* Perform root cause analysis of bugs and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
* Verify and validate bug fixes and software updates.
4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
* Ensure that all software meets functional and technical specifications.
* Validate that software products comply with industry standards and best practices.
* Conduct regression testing to prevent the reintroduction of defects.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and quality delivery.
* Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
* Communicate test progress, results, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a QA Specialist or in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
* Experience with automated UI testing is a big plus
* Familiarity with tasks-management systems (e.g., Azure DevOps).
* Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Fluency in English & French
