As a Freelance Credit Analyst your responsibilities are:
* Perform daily credit checks and manage order release processes in coordination with Customer Service.
* Monitor customer accounts, credit limits, and payment behaviors to minimize financial risk.
* Liaise with credit insurance providers and utilize credit management tools to support decisions.
* Partner closely with Customer Service and Sales teams to balance commercial needs with sound financial practices.
* Work with Accounting to resolve overdue accounts, payment discrepancies, and escalate issues when necessary.
* Provide guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure customer orders are processed swiftly and efficiently.
* Manage and maintain credit-related activities in our ERP system (Sage Office line 100) and Web shop.
* Ensure accurate and timely updates in all systems to enable transparency and efficiency.
* Support continuous improvement of credit control processes and propose enhancements where needed.
This new successful Freelance Credit Analyst should have:
* Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* Experience in credit management, credit analysis, or order-to-cash processes, ideally in wholesale distribution or B2B environments.
* Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Sage Office line 100 knowledge is a plus).
* Proficient in English, French, and Dutch (spoken & written).
* Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Good communication skills with the ability to nourish partnerships across departments.
* Service-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
