PpFor our customer in the energy sector, we are searching for a Legal Counsel / Data Protection Officer to combine three responsibilities: strategic and transactional legal support for MA and corporate cases, ad interim Data Protection Officer (GDPR), and legal guidance from the Innovation Department, with a focus on contracts and intellectual property. /p h3Data Protection /h3 ul liActing as a Data Protection Officer ad interim in accordance with the GDPR and applicable national legislation. /li liSupervising and advising on compliance with data protection rules within the organization (advising on lawfulness of processing, legal bases, proportionality and data minimization). /li liActing as a point of contact for the Data Protection Authority and data subjects. /li liRaising awareness and training of employees in the field of data protection. /li liLegal guidance from the Innovation / RD / Digital / Tech Department for innovative projects and collaborations. /li liDrafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts on innovation, including cooperation agreements, licensing and use agreements, proof‑of‑concept and pilot project contracts, IT agreements. /li liEnsuring a correct IP allocation (background/foreground IP) in innovation projects. /li liCollaboration with IT and business stakeholders. /li /ul h3General /h3 ul liFor a variety of legal matters and ad hoc problems in order to ensure the proper functioning of the company. /li liIn addition, the consultant follows up on the latest legislative and regulatory developments in the relevant areas of law. /li /ul h3Additional requirements /h3 ul liA master's degree in law. /li liProfessional experience of up to 7 years in a company or at the bar and can present (other) useful experience (company internships, project follow‑up, specialization year, ...) preferably in the fields of MA, IP and privacy/data protection and contract law. /li liA good knowledge of civil law remains an asset. /li liStrong analytical and negotiation skills. /li liAbility to turn complex legal advice into pragmatic business solutions. /li liUnderstanding the required independence and integrity of the DPO role. /li liFamiliar with following up on disputes. /li liDedicated and customer‑oriented. /li liWorking independently and in an organized way. /li liEnterprising and likes to take on responsibilities. /li liStrong in both written and oral communication and you are a driven team player.
