Role Summary

The Professional channel is a core growth engine for Sonos, and as the Account Manager for Benelux, you will act as the strategic architect for this critical market. Sitting within the Benelux Commercial team, you will move beyond day-to-day management to define the long-term commercial roadmap for our professional partners who design, sell, install and service Sonos solutions in residential and commercial environments.

In this high-impact role, you will own the regional channel strategy, identifying untapped market segments and driving complex commercial initiatives that fuel sustainable, profitable growth. With your counterparts in other EMEA regions, you will serve as a trusted advisor to EMEA leadership and Global IS leadership, influencing regional resource allocation and bridging the gap between local market needs and our broader EMEA goals. You will also play a key leadership role towards existing distributors and within the wider team,championing best practices that elevate our entire professional sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

* Strategic Channel Leadership: Define and own the 3-year strategic growth plan for the Benelux Professional channel, identifying new revenue streams and "breakthrough" opportunities beyond the existing run-rate business.

* Commercial Innovation: independently analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to recommend and implement new commercial models or distribution strategies that maximize market share.

* High-Stakes Partnership Management: Own the relationship strategy for our strategic Tier-1 partners (Distributors and large-scale Integrators), negotiating commercial agreements and drive joint business plans (JBPs) with C-level stakeholders.

* Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead cross-functional task forces (Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal) to solve systemic regional challenges, such as inventory flow optimization, channel conflict resolution, or pricing strategy adjustments.

* Forecasting & Business Health: Drive the accuracy and reliability of the regional forecast; analyze complex sales data to spot risks early and proactively design mitigation plans to ensure target attainment.

* Voice of the Market: Act as the primary conduit between the Benelux market and EMEA/Global Product & Engineering teams, synthesizing partner feedback to influence future product roadmaps and software feature development.

* Mentorship & Standards: Serve as a senior leader within the Professional team,onboarding new hires, and establishing "gold standard" processes for account planning and pipeline management.

Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, business development, or channel sales leadership within the Professional AV, Smart home / Installed Solutions, or Consumer Electronics industry.

* Proven track record of defining and executing territory growth strategies that delivered measurable revenue impact (not just hitting a quota, but growing the business).

* Demonstrated experience negotiating complex commercial terms and managing high-stakes relationships with senior executives at partner organizations.

* Strong financial acumen: Ability to build business cases, manage P&L implications for the channel, and model ROI for proposed investments.

* Relationship Builder: Proven track record in developing long-term professional partnerships. You are a credible, well-prepared, and reliable ambassador for the brand.

* Proactive Problem Solver: Adept at managing time-sensitive and demanding stakeholders. You are decisive and creative, always balancing entrepreneurial needs with delivering the best results for the end customer.

* Experience influencing internal cross-functional teams and senior leadership without direct authority.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex strategies to executive audiences.

* Ability to travel regularly within the Benelux region and occasionally within EMEA

Preferred Qualifications

* Deep network and understanding of the Benelux Professional AV and Smart Home installer landscape.

* Experience launching new product categories or entering new market verticals (e.g., Commercial/Light Business audio).

* Experience mentoring peers or leading project teams.

* Multilingual proficiency (English, Dutch, French) is highly valued.
