Transforming knowledge into a strategic resource is our company mission, and we pursue it with the help of our most strategic asset: our people.TasksDesign and specify enterprise‑grade analytical components supporting CBAM risk management workflows;Translate CBAM policy requirements into risk scoring logic, profiling models, and alert frameworks;Define and document modelling pipelines for ingestion, transformation, risk calculation, and result delivery;Support the implementation of statistical and machine learning models for emission anomaly detection and behavioral risk scoring;Ensure the integration of modelling artefacts into production pipelines, dashboards, and operational interfaces;Promote auditability, reproducibility, and interpretability of risk analytics systems;Liaise with stakeholders from policy units, architecture, and infrastructure teams to align analytics with business and operational needs.RequirementsESSENTIALMinimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in designing and applying advanced data science models in a professional context;Proven track record in developing statistical and machine learning models, including real‑life applications such as fraud detection, emissions modelling, survival analysis, or risk classification;Experience contributing to the end‑to‑end lifecycle of model development — from data ingestion to deployment, validation, and integration;Familiarity with CBAM‑relevant domains such as emissions monitoring, compliance modelling, or trade‑based risk profiling is a strong asset;Demonstrated ability to contribute to structured analytical architecture within a cross‑disciplinary team;Background in academic or applied research is considered an added value, in fields related to policy modelling or public sector analytics.GENERALExcellent knowledge of machine learning techniques and statistical modelling, including classification, clustering, and time‑to‑event analysis;Proven experience in developing reproducible analytics using Python and R, and related frameworks;Experience applying quantitative methods to real‑world problems in policy‑driven or regulated domains;Knowledge of risk scoring, anomaly detection, and bias mitigation techniques;Familiarity with modern data science environments such as RStudio, Anaconda, and version‑controlled development;Strong understanding of model governance principles: auditability, interpretability, reproducibility;Capacity to communicate technical results to non‑technical stakeholders;Autonomy in delivering model‑based analytics aligned with architectural and business needs.Office: Brusselsmodality of work: hybrid – 2 days per week on siteOur personnel search is addressed to candidates of all genders.The data will be processed and stored exclusively for the purposes of this or future selections, in compliance with the Federal Data Protection Law (LPD) and guaranteeing the rights referred to in art. 13 Legislative Decree 196/03 and EU regulation 679/2016 (GDPR).
