About the Role:
As a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our digital presence and driving marketing initiatives. Your responsibilities will involve translating conceptual ideas into visually compelling designs that resonate with our target audience.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Collaborative Design: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts while adhering to brand guidelines.
2. Asset Optimization: Develop and optimize graphics and images for online platforms, ensuring alignment with brand standards and compatibility with web and mobile interfaces.
3. Print Design: Create and update print materials regularly, with a focus on wholesale requirements, including catalogs, brochures, packaging, and other promotional materials.
4. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, UX/UI designers, and developers to align designs with strategic objectives. Communicate design concepts effectively and manage project timelines.
5. Creative Innovation: Introduce innovative design concepts and ideas into digital experiences, incorporating user feedback, design trends, and business goals.
6. Organizational Efficiency: Maintain an organized repository of design files with version control practices for easy access and retrieval of assets.
7. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and techniques to enhance digital product creativity and effectiveness.
8. Active Participation: Engage in team discussions, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions to contribute valuable insights and improve design processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on e-commerce and digital marketing projects. Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs that meet business objectives.
2. Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential. Proficiency in Figma for collaborative design and prototyping is required.
3. Design Expertise: Strong conceptualization, visual communication, and attention to detail. Solid understanding of color theory, typography, layout, and composition principles.
4. Portfolio Quality: Showcase a portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and understanding of design principles, especially for digital platforms.
5. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills will be considered.
6. Time Management: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines consistently.
7. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, adapt to evolving design requirements, and maintain high-quality outputs.
8. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Technical Skills
1. Proficiency in Notion for project management, task organization, collaboration, and documentation.
2. Proficiency in Slack for effective communication, collaboration, and team coordination, including channel management, file sharing, and real-time messaging.
3. Proficiency in GSuite for productivity, document management, and collaboration, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
4. Familiarity with Loom for creating and sharing video content, including screen recordings, tutorials, and presentations, to enhance communication and training within teams.
5. Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for graphic design, illustration, and layout creation.
6. Proficiency in Figma for collaborative design, prototyping, and UI/UX design processes.
7. Experience in creating and preparing print materials such as catalogs, brochures, and packaging, ensuring print-ready files.
8. Understanding of web design principles and ability to optimize graphics and images for web and mobile interfaces.
9. Familiarity with tools and platforms used in digital marketing, ensuring designs are optimized for online campaigns.
10. Strong knowledge of typography principles, layout design, and composition to create visually appealing designs.
11. Proficiency in color theory and color management to maintain consistency and effectiveness in design projects.
12. Experience with version control systems or practices to manage and organize design files efficiently.
