Our office is in Shenzhen, China. We are looking for people living in Shenzhen or those who can commute to work in-person.
At Terra, we're building the simplest way for creators to design and sell their own products. Our software allows them to design, customize, and sell products with just a few clicks and no lift on their end. Terra handles the creation of the product, the manufacturing and supply chain, and delivery of the product to the end customer.
Our manufacturing side has two aspects: product sampling and mass production. We work with a very wide range of products. Essentially if you can imagine it - we can make it, and your role is to help figure out how to make it.
Responsibilities
Product and manufacturer sourcing
Get involved in analyzing and breaking down products into their core components, communicate with manufacturers, and work in a very fast-paced environment.
Figure out how to create on-demand supply chains
Monitor mass production, onboard manufacturers onto our software and make sure that they are adhering to all the guidelines.
Work fast and correct. We are a startup, and iterate extremely fast, and you need to be able to keep up with our working pace.
Minimum qualifications
Sourcing background or any experience working with manufacturers in China
Negotiating experience
Understanding of factory processes, timelines, terminology, and strong attention to detail
Willingness to work long hours in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred qualifications
Strong procurement background and previous experience working with manufacturers, suppliers, and freight forwarders.
