Responsibilities:
* Responsibility for the development of mechanical components and assemblies – from the initial idea to series production
* Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop sustainable product solutions
* Technology evaluation and selection for the systematic resolution of technical challenges
* Management of the entire prototyping process – from CAD to validated prototypes
* Technical coaching within the department to promote expertise and team competence
Your profile:
* Completed degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar)
* At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in mechanical design
* Good knowledge of electronics required
* Very good CAD skills for modeling and creating drawings
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), as well as Jira and Confluence, is an advantage
* Independent and accurate work combined with a hands-on mentality, as well as extensive organizational and communication skills
* High problem-solving skills in collaboration with various departments
* Very good written and spoken German and English skills
