As Corporate Legal Counsel, based at the Boortmalt HQ in Antwerp, you will be responsible for all legal matters within the global organization, reporting to the Group Legal & Indirect Procurement Manager. You will actively be involved in the company’s Corporate household, Finance, Commercial, and Operations legal practices.
Your core responsibilities will include:
1. Providing legal support and business-oriented legal advice, particularly on commercial contracts.
2. Reviewing and managing all types of legal and compliance issues within the group, including data privacy, anti-corruption, and competition law.
3. Proactively managing disputes and claims with third parties.
4. Supporting and advising internal stakeholders across various business units, including finance, operations, and sales, on a wide range of international corporate projects.
Master recherché
Qualified with a Master's Belgium Law Degree.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department specializing in corporate and commercial law.
Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in Dutch or French is a plus.
You are well-organized, punctual, proactive, and capable of solving practical problems. You communicate effectively and possess excellent networking skills.
