Plant Controller
Are you a finance professional who thrives where the numbers meet real operations? As Plant Controller at What's Cooking?, you'll sit at the heart of our production site at Marche-en-Famenne - not just reporting on performance but actively shaping it.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a role with genuine impact. You'll partner with plant management and report to the Group Controller, serving as their trusted financial compass on the ground.
* You'll advise leadership on budgeting and financial strategy — both short and long-term — and actively steer the plant's financial performance toward our strategic goals.
* You'll produce financial reports and analyses for the Management Team - proactively spotting trends and delivering insight before anyone has to ask.
* You'll be a process improvement champion, identifying where financial and operational workflows can be sharpened and making it happen.
* You'll own the budget cycle end-to-end and keep a close, continuous eye on performance parameters throughout the year.
* You'll evaluate investment proposals and provide well-reasoned recommendations on their financial merit.
Who are you?
* A Master's degree in Economics or equivalent experience
* At least 2 years in a similar controlling role, combined with genuine enthusiasm and a drive to keep pushing plant performance forward.
* A proactive mindset — you spot opportunities, take initiative, and communicate with ease across all levels of the organization.
* Strong analytical and process-oriented thinking, with advanced Excel skills.
* A willingness to get out on the shop floor regularly — understanding what's happening in production is key to everything you do.
* Flexibility in how and what you work on, and the ability to connect naturally with everyone from operators to executives.
* You'll be based primarily at Marche-en-Famenne, communicating with ease in both French & English.
