Job Description:
* Strategic Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with our organization's overall objectives. This involves identifying new market opportunities, analyzing competition, and determining the optimal positioning.
* Sales and New Business: Lead the commercial department and drive sales growth through effective negotiation and deal closure. Focus on leading large public tenders, optimizing tender delivery, and managing transactional sales activities.
* Team Management and Coaching: Lead a team of sales professionals, motivating and coaching them to achieve their objectives and grow further. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and results-orientation.
* Market Analysis and Innovation: Closely monitor market developments, identify trends, and anticipate future needs. Contribute to the development of innovative services and solutions that meet customer demand.
* Budget Management and Reporting: Prepare commercial budgets, monitor performance, and report on it to management. Analyze data to gain insights and provide steering information.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other departments within our organization to ensure an integrated approach and create synergies.
* Network in Mobility Market: Maintain a relevant network within the Belgian mobility sector.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A proven track record (at least 15 years) in a senior commercial role, preferably within a B2G environment. Experience with public tenders is essential.
* A strong and relevant network within the Belgian mobility sector.
* Proactive, innovative, and forward-thinking with a clear vision for the future of mobility.
* A strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality and a results-oriented approach.
* Demonstrable experience in leading, motivating, and coaching sales teams.
* Analytically strong and capable of translating data into commercial insights.
* Fluency in both Dutch and French.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
