Digital Tools Coordinator & Data Officer – Antwerp – Full Time – HybridFor one of our major industrial clients in Antwerp, we are looking for a Digital Tools Coordinator & Data Officer to support its digital department across multiple industrial sites. This role combines digital tool coordination with data governance responsibilities and is crucial in driving digital transformation within a complex and change‑resistant environment.ContextThe position is based within industrial and production facilities across three sites, with roughly 2,600 potential users. You will take a leading role in implementing digital tools originating from central digital programs as well as local initiatives. A key part of the mission is to guide users through change, training, and adoption, and to support operational excellence, energy efficiency, process reliability, and lean ways of working.ResponsibilitiesDigital Tools CoordinatorCoordinate the technical implementation of digital applications across all sites.Supervise the delivery, deployment, and field adoption of new digital tools.Ensure tool quality, compliance with internal procedures and cybersecurity requirements, and monitor associated costs.Promote and extend the use of existing platforms (TIM applications, Mendix, BI, Power Platform) through training, workshops, and communication.Improve integration between new digital tools and existing IT systems, ensuring alignment with corporate governance and best practices.Oversee the maintenance and operations of in‑house applications such as Mendix, SharePoint, Access, and .NET solutions.Participate in the digital committee and align activities with central digital teams.Monitor incidents, manage application evolutions, and coordinate with internal or external providers.Act as the IT liaison within project teams and contribute to Lean/Obeya activities.Lead key user meetings and ensure strong communication across all shifts.Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection standards.Coordinate the day‑to‑day work of an external PMO (1 FTE) and translate business vision into actionable digital projects.Data OfficerApply data governance and data hub principles in collaboration with central teams.Assess and map the current data landscape across domains such as operations, maintenance, projects, HSSEI, and more.Define a distributed data architecture and propose clear roles and responsibilities.Implement the defined architecture step by step, including quick‑win initiatives.Address data governance within major transformation programs (e‑Permit, One Asset, etc.).Coordinate the work of an external end‑to‑end data developer (1 FTE) and translate business needs into concrete data projects.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of professional experience.Experience in project management and good understanding of industrial and/or enterprise IT processes.Strong knowledge of IT and new technologies; continuous learning mindset.Technical background and familiarity with refining or chemical plant operations (asset).Lean knowledge is required.Autonomous, proactive, hands‑on, and solutions‑oriented.Strong change management and stakeholder engagement skills.Effective communication and assertiveness.Fluent in Dutch and English; French is an asset.
