About the role:
We are seeking a Senior IT Engineer with GxP experience to join our team for a project support role either onsite or remote.
The ideal candidate should have strong IT knowledge (must) with basic experience in labs/manufacturing or automation within the pharmaceutical industry and should be highly motivated, innovative, and a self-starter, possessing excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide IT support for system upgrades, extension projects, and other project-related activities, including documentation, networking, firewall configuration, SQL and more.
Experience with one or more of the following lab or manufacturing applications is a plus, particularly from an IT perspective, configuration experience is not required but is a plus:
· ELN / Elance
· Opcenter
· DeltaV
· Syncade
· AVEVA System Platform
· AVEVA PI
· Empower
While not mandatory, the following areas of expertise are considered a strong advantage for this role:
Incident management:
· L2/L3 support
· End to end IT incident management
· Redact Knowledgebase article for future incident resolution
· Monitoring Application health
Problem management:
· Proactive and reactive problem management
· Create and manage problem tickets
· Coordinate end to end problem resolution (Infrastructure, Network, DB & product vendors as appropriate)
Change Management:
· Create, manage change requests
· Follow up on change activities
· Perform change activities as needed (IQ/OQ tests)
Application Operations & Lifecycle Management:
· Manage application patching (installation, coordination with product vendor)
· Create installation procedures as appropriate
· Create and manage asset information in CMDB
· Manage application accesses (create/modify/disable)
· Create/update service desk guide
· Create/update configuration guide
Requirements:
· Senior IT profile with 5+ years of relevant experience
· Experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
· Familiarity with ISA 88 and GAMP guidelines is a plus
· Strong analytical, documentation, and interpersonal skills
