The ConsolidationSpecialist will report to the Director of Group Accounting, ensuring effectivecommunication and alignment with group-wide financial objectives.This role is ideal forcandidates with previous experience in audit (Big4), who possess expertise infinancial consolidation processes. The successful applicant will play a pivotalrole in supporting group reporting and ensuring compliance with relevantaccounting standards.Key Responsibilities· Assist in the preparation and review ofconsolidated financial statements for the group, ensuring accuracy andadherence to deadlines.· Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-endclosing activities, focusing on consolidation entries and intercompanyeliminations.· Contribute to the assessment of asset values inaccordance with applicable accounting standards.· Apply knowledge of IFRS 16 to ensure correctaccounting for leases within the consolidated accounts.· Maintain up-to-date documentation ofconsolidation procedures and controls.· Collaborate with internal and externalauditors, providing necessary information and support during audit cycles.· Ensure compliance with accounting principlesand group policies throughout the consolidation process.· Identify opportunities to improve consolidationprocesses and support implementation of best practices.Required Skills and Experience· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or arelated discipline.· years' experience in audit (Big4), withexposure to consolidation engagements.· Good understanding of IFRS accountingprinciples (IFRS16, IAS36…)· Experience in performing impairment tests andunderstanding asset valuation methodologies.· Excellent analytical and problem-solvingskills, with a keen attention to detail.· Effective communication skills and ability towork collaboratively within a team.· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiaritywith consolidation software is advantageous.What We Offer· Opportunities for professional growth anddevelopment within a supportive team environment.· Exposure to complex group reporting andconsolidation processes.· Competitive salary and benefits package.· Hybrid working arrangements.
