Freelance - IT Infrastructure Project Manager - Greenfield project
We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager for a long term contract, starting as soon as possible. You will lead strategic, infrastructure-focused IT projects in an international and demanding environment, ensuring strong coordination across stakeholders, technical teams, and management.
Responsibilities:Manage a portfolio of infrastructure and security projects (e.g., legacy Active Directory decommissioning, Secure Boot upgrade, Windows Server 2016 upgrade, VMware integration on a group platform).Define and manage project plans (scope, resources, costs, risks, dependencies)Anticipate risks, propose mitigation plans, ensure milestone delivery and apply group project management methodologies.Coordinate change management activities to ensure adoption and sustainability.Act as single point of contact for assigned projects (group and external partners).Lead technical teams collaboratively and maintain stakeholder alignment, and present to executive committees and group forums.Maintain smooth interaction with technical teams(including offshore and group teams), participate in Change Advisory Boards (CAB), and define and follow up on technical deliverables.
Experience:Minimum 5 years' experience managing large-scale IT projects.Proven ownership and autonomous delivery.Strong prioritization skills, big-picture vision, and results-driven mindset.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Experience in vendor management and leading multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency in Jira, Gantt chart tools or equivalent.Operational French and English.Education in IT, telecommunications, or equivalent experience (preferred).
