The Engineering Delivery Management (EDM) role focuses on the technical management of engineering activities, building a goal-driven engineering team and delivering engineering outcomes within time and budget. You will work with engineering teams, Product Design Authority, and other stakeholders to organize projects, processes and deliverables. Strong focus on engineering delivery to achieve on-time delivery within budget Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering projects involving hardware, software, and system integration Build and lead a team to create an efficient engineering chain for R&T/R&D activities Manage cross-functional engineering teams (systems engineers, software developers, test engineers) Advance project execution by developing project management skills and processes Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle Define and track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables aligned with contractual commitments Coordinate collaboration across internal resources, local sub-contractors, foreign partners and customers Collaborate with program managers, people managers, quality assurance, and supply chain to ensure compliance with defense industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AQAP) Drive continuous improvement to optimize delivery processes, including Agile or V-model methodologies for defense projects Ensure clear communication and reporting with internal stakeholders and external customers Manage programs based on Engineering KPIs Support regulatory and certification activities related to product safety, reliability, and performance Qualifications / Profile
Completed Master’s degree in Engineering Minimum 5 years of Project Management or technical leadership experience within an Engineering Company (high tech) in aerospace, defense, automotive, embedded systems or other high-reliability industries Strong knowledge of systems engineering, product development lifecycles, and integration/testing processes Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex projects Results-oriented, cost-conscious, and proactive Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a highly regulated environment Vision-driven, with ability to navigate complex situations Proactive attitude and stakeholder engagement Strong Project Management skills: scope, stakeholder, resource and risk management; able to work in multidisciplinary teams Proficiency with PM tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence) Collaborative mindset with focus on continuous improvement within the team Enthusiastic, dynamic with excellent communication skills Familiarity with defense industry standards, quality frameworks, and certification processes Experience in aeronautical, spatial, defense or automotive industries; knowledge of DO-178, ARP4754 or ISO26262 is a plus Fluent in French and English; knowledge of German or Dutch is a plus Employment details
