Your Role
The Operations Support department stands for thorough preparation before a dredging project begins. Their goal is to provide the on-site project team with a complete and workable plan – the key to efficient, safe, and cost-effective execution. Your responsibilities include:

* You coordinate with various internal departments to achieve a clear plan and a well-defined division of roles.
* You work closely with the Construction (Works) Manager Dredging Operations Support on the assigned project.
* You oversee communication between all parties and ensure the chosen approach is safe, effective, and cost-efficient.
* You prepare detailed operational requirements and the corresponding equipment list in preparation for mobilisation; you organise this process, monitor its proper execution, and actively support the start-up of mobilisation.
* You respond quickly to problems and collaborate with the appropriate departments to implement solutions.
* You contribute to the optimisation of processes and methods, and ensure best practices are shared within the team and across the organisation.
What you need to have
* A bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial or civil engineering, or equivalent.
* At least four years of technical experience on dredging projects.
* Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Additional languages are an asset.
* Solution-oriented mindset.
* Strong planning and organisational skills to maintain an overview of ongoing projects and deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills to build connections and collaborate with various departments and colleagues.
* Willingness to travel abroad for short assignments to support or hand over on-site operations.
