IT Governance & Processs (F/M/X)
Summary objective of the job
Responsible for designing, implementing and maturing IT governance, risk & compliance frameworks and end-to-end IT process definitions. Reporting to the Head of IT Governance, Processes and PMO. Works with IT leadership, process owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into repeatable, auditable processes, KPIs and controls that improve service quality, reduce risk and enable regulatory compliance. Regular presence in the office is required.
Key responsibilities
• Design and implement governance frameworks (steering/forums, roles & responsibilities, decision-making flows, policy lifecycle) as planned on the roadmap.
• Define, document and operationalize core IT processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Asset, Configuration, Capacity, Service Request, Supplier/Vendor management, IAM).
• Develop KPIs, dashboards and reporting for SteerCo and operational teams; define targets and escalation rules.
• Establish process controls and compliance checks aligned with relevant standards/regulations (ISO 27001, ITIL, GDPR, internal policies).
• Facilitate workshops and working groups to socialize processes, secure approvals and ensure adoption.
• Create supporting artefacts: process maps, RACI matrices, SOPs, templates, playbooks and training materials.
• Support internal and external audit readiness: evidence collection, remediation plans, tracking and closure.
• Coach and upskill process owners and practitioners; embed continuous improvement methods (Lean, PDCA).
• Coordinate with PMO, security, risk and legal to align governance and change activities.
• Track benefits and measure process improvement outcomes; communicate progress to stakeholders.
Lines of Communication
You will be in contact with the internal IT team members composed of infrastructure teams, architects, analysts, developers, product owners, SDMs and security experts and business IT stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required skills & experience
• 5+ years' experience in IT governance, ITSM/process design, or IT risk & compliance roles (consulting or in-house).
• Experience in implementing IT processes (Incident, Change, Release, Asset/CMDB, etc.) and governance structures.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and experience with ISO 27001, GDPR and/or other relevant standards.
• Experience building KPIs, dashboards and steering committee materials.
• Practical experience supporting audits and remediation activities.
• Excellent documentation and process-mapping skills (Visio, Miro, or equivalent).
• Languages: full professional proficiency in English and Dutch and French
