You will be part of a professional team where customer focus, quality, and growth are key priorities.Your roleAs a Customer Service Representative, you will be handling order intake and providing support to both internal teams and external clients by addressing their questions and requests. Your responsibilities include:Develop a solid understanding of customer support processes, especially in handling service disruptions and recovery efforts.Begin cultivating strong connections with a select group of clients, while also stepping in to support fellow Customer Service team members when needed.Engage with continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and addressing operational challenges.Collaborate actively across departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.Enter, update, and manage orders, ensuring customers receive prompt confirmation.Oversee the daily drop-ship operations for parts distribution centers within the Cummins Global Logistics Network.Ensure all required documentation is complete and transferred to logistics partners to facilitate seamless deliveries.Handle customer communications across all channels, including phone, email, and fax.Keep customers informed about the status of their orders, including any delays or back-orders, by retrieving and sharing relevant data.Generate invoices based on agreed terms and ensure all shipped items are billed appropriately, especially at month-end.Assist in resolving service issues by coordinating with all involved parties to implement cost-effective recovery plans.Act as a support resource for other team members when needed, helping manage additional customer accounts.
