Project Description
We are currently looking for a Sub-System Manager to support the successful execution of a large-scale engineering project within the mobility or industrial sector. In this role, you will oversee a specific sub-system, managing its scope, schedule, cost, and quality from requirement definition to final delivery.
You’ll lead cross-functional teams, coordinate activities across departments, and ensure that all sub-system deliverables align with overall project goals, contractual requirements, and industry standards.
Your Responsibilities
* Manage sub-system activities end-to-end: requirements, planning, execution, delivery.
* Translate project goals into actionable sub-system objectives and allocate them to relevant teams.
* Monitor progress and performance using project KPIs (QCDP – Quality, Cost, Delivery, Performance).
* Ensure compliance with applicable processes, safety regulations, and engineering standards.
* Coordinate across engineering, procurement, supply chain, and quality functions.
* Handle risk management, opportunity tracking, and change management at sub-system level.
* Report transparently on sub-system status and represent the sub-system in project meetings.
* Act as point of contact for external stakeholders on sub-system matters when required.
Your Strengths
* 2+ years of experience as a sub-system/component manager or in managing complex technical scopes.
* Strong project management skills and familiarity with WBS, scheduling, and KPI tracking.
* Leadership and coordination experience in multi-disciplinary, multi-site teams.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Able to make data-driven decisions and trade-offs under pressure.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* IPMA Level C (or equivalent) is a plus.
* Experience in sectors like transportation, energy, or industrial automation is an asset.
