You will join a key industrial site as the finance reference on performance topics, working closely with both finance leadership and operational teams.
Beyond traditional controlling, the position is highly exposed to the business: you will be expected to understand how the site operates end-to-end, challenge assumptions, and bring clarity on performance drivers.
This is a role with strong autonomy and visibility, at the crossroads between finance, operations, and transformation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your scope will evolve around three main pillars:
Performance & Operations
* Act as the go-to finance partner for industrial activities, with a strong focus on cost structure and operational efficiency
* Analyze performance drivers across production, supply chain, and project activities
* Challenge existing practices and contribute to margin improvement initiatives
Financial Steering
* Take ownership of key closing topics, with a focus on operational accuracy (inventory, production flows, cost recognition)
* Provide clear and actionable insights on monthly performance, highlighting risks and opportunities
* Support decision-making through ad hoc analysis and business cases
Structuring & Improvement
* Strengthen data reliability and improve the overall quality of financial information
* Contribute to the evolution of tools, reporting, and processes (including ERP-related topics)
* Play an active role in budgeting and forecasting cycles, with a pragmatic and business-driven approach
PROFILE
You bring a solid background in industrial controlling and are comfortable operating in environments where finance is closely linked to operations.
You are not only technical but also able to step back, prioritize, and communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders.
* Around 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
* Strong understanding of cost structures, production flows, and financial steering
* Ability to navigate between detail and big picture
* Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset
* Comfortable working with data and systems (advanced Excel, BI tools, ERP)
* Strong interpersonal skills and natural credibility with operational teams
* Fluent in French, with a good command of English
OFFER
* A role with real business exposure, not a purely reporting position
* Direct impact on operational and financial performance
* Involvement in transformation topics (tools, processes, digitalization)
* A balanced environment combining structure and room for initiative
* Competitive overall package including company car, bonuses, and full benefits
* Long-term growth potential within a stable yet evolving organization
