As interim Talent Manager, you will take the lead during a pivotal phase: the continued rollout of our L&D strategy and the strengthening of our learning culture. You'll drive progress across five strategic priorities while empowering your team to grow in autonomy and ownership. Your ultimate goal? Activate a learning and growth mindset in all 2,000 of our teammates.
You’ll be working closely with a passionate team of 3 Talent/L&D professionals, within a broader HR community that values co-creation and peer learning. You will report directly to the Head of HR and collaborate closely with business leaders across the company. This role includes active collaboration with Decathlon United, giving you exposure to international L&D developments.
Recent initiatives include our new onboarding journey, a leadership growth path, and a shift to a blended learning framework.
What You'll Do
1. Provide structure, direction, and energy to the L&D team while coaching them toward greater autonomy.
2. Roll out a refreshed L&D way of working, anchored in clear priorities and processes.
3. Coordinate the LMS implementation with Decathlon United, ensuring alignment with local needs.
4. Launch blended learning journeys backed by a sustainable data framework.
5. Develop a clear facilitation framework and recognition system for internal trainers.
6. Create a transparent business model for internal and external learning initiatives.
Jobprofiel
You are :
7. Experienced as a Talent, L&D or HR Manager with a strong background in project and change management.
8. Strategic thinker who also delivers with drive and precision.
9. Ambitious and results-oriented.
10. Skilled in motivating teams, optimizing processes and measuring impact.
11. At ease in a diverse, multilingual, people-first environment. (NL/ENG or FR/ENG required; ideally trilingual.)

You are available from October 2025 until April 2026, approx. 3 days/week. Freelance or fixed-term contract possible.
