Location: Zaventem, Belgium
The Opportunity
The Project Manager will manage the delivery of ADB SAFEGATE's portfolio. Preferred Specialist Airfield Lighting & A-VDGS experience is a requirement of this role with experience in Control systems and good background with Software related Project Management
You will make an impact by….
* To ensure the profitable and on-time execution of ADB SAFEGATE's portfolio of projects spanning from order hand-over to commissioning and acceptance of final documentation through close management of all technical, commercial, and logistic aspects of the contract.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, risks, and budget.
* Well experienced and knowledgeable in POC project forecasting methodology for revenue and sales margins and experienced in risk and opportunity reporting to the management.
* Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
* Manage project risks and issues and develop contingency plans when necessary.
* Monitor and control project progress, adjusting as needed to ensure successful completion.
* Ensure that project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
* Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
* Foster a positive team environment and promote collaboration among team members.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulation.
* Work closely with KAM (Key Account Managers), Sales Directors, Sales Managers during project handover stage to understand the project deliverable in term of contractual, commercial, technically.
* Provide the customer with a single point of contact for all technical and commercial matters pertaining to the project.
* Liaise with/Visit customer during project execution to discuss project progress, technical submissions and expedite decisions/approvals where necessary.
* Liaise between sub-suppliers (intercompany and third party) and customer's freight forwarder to ensure goods are delivered on-time and in accordance with contractual packing/shipping specs and Incoterms.
* Obtain relevant Proof of Delivery (POD) from sub-supplier and register in time to recognize the sale of the goods within the given financial period.
* Review project startup service requirements with customer to gain complete understanding and agreement of customer expectation.
* Liaise with Business lines, Various functions like Finance, Legal, HR, IT in Global & Regional HQ and destination service team to coordinate startup services.
* Verify all punch list items arising from commissioning and startup activity to ensure legitimacy and actively promote profitable variation orders (VO's) wherever possible.

* Master Engineer or equivalent by experience
* Expert knowledge of measurement tools (oscilloscope, power analyser, spectrum analyser…) and measurement methodologies
* Expert knowledge on maintenance & calibration of test equipment & laboratories
* Knowledge in software programming & measurement tools
* Knowledge in electro-optical theory knowledge
* Knowledge of material properties & mechanical theory
* Insight in modern production processes
* Experience in project management and related tools
* Experience with people management including competence management, career management, communication techniques and related tools
* Professional knowledge of relevant international and national standards (FAA, ICAO, …) and CE/EMC/IEC requirement
* Professional knowledge of products and systems used on airports
* Proficiency in English at C1 level, other languages are in an asset
