Daikin Europe NV (DENV) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese outstanding company and worldwide the biggest developer, producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.

DENV is Daikin’s sales, R&D, and production headquarters for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. The headquarter has Belgian offices in Brussels, Ghent and Ostend, as well as 8 production plants, 24 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the EMEA region.

Location: Brussels (with up to 30% travel across EMEA)

Role Summary:
We are looking for a driven International Key Account Manager HVAC to identify, develop, and nurture high-value partnerships with global Hospitality and Leisure clients across the EMEA region. In this role, you will combine strategic relationship building with hands-on sales execution to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and secure new International Key Accounts while strengthening and supporting existing partnerships in the hospitality and leisure market segment.
2. Drive sales and profitability for Daikin Europe in the short, medium, and long term.
3. Build strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers, both locally and at headquarters level.
4. Understand market trends and customer challenges to provide tailored, value-added HVAC solutions.
5. Oversee contract implementation across multiple countries, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and mobilise Daikin Group expertise to deliver business objectives.
7. Explore and implement new business models or customised solutions for strategic accounts.
8. Negotiate frame agreements, organise client seminars, and develop annual sales budget plans.
9. Maintain a high level of customer engagement with a minimum of 40 key account meetings annually.
10. Monitor customer organisational changes and Daikin product innovations to strengthen loyalty and retention.

Your Profile:

11. Master’s degree in engineering or economics preferred.
12. 3–5 years of experience in sales or Key Account Management, ideally within the HVAC sector (technical knowledge a plus).
13. Skilled in consultative selling, value creation, and long-term strategic planning.
14. Strong project management, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
15. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
16. Self-starter with a passion for closing deals and developing new opportunities.
17. Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
18. Willing to travel up to 30% of your time.
