1. Commercial Manager – Retail Partnerships
Scope of the Project
As Commercial Manager, the consultant is responsible for achieving revenue, margin, and P&L objectives within key retail partnerships.
You develop and implement commercial plans that support sustainable growth of the company's brands and strengthen the private label business across different retail formats.
This role requires a strategic and analytical commercial professional with strong negotiation skills, capable of building long-term partnerships and leveraging opportunities in a competitive FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management & Joint Business Planning
* Lead Joint Business Planning with major retail partners to drive mutual growth.
* Negotiate assortment, promotions, planograms, activations, and pricing strategies.
* Maximize visibility and revenue growth across both offline and online channels.
* Manage the full customer P&L, including budget control and profitability analysis.
Data-Driven Decision Making & Category Support
* Analyze market data, shopper insights, and competitive intelligence.
* Translate insights into actionable commercial plans.
* Collaborate with Category Management and Revenue Growth Management to optimize assortment, pricing architecture, and promotion strategies.
Forecasting & Performance Management
* Build and monitor accurate forecasts for revenue, volume, and promotional impact.
* Align forecasting with commercial objectives and supply chain planning.
Operational Excellence
* Ensure flawless execution of commercial plans and promotions.
* Manage administrative follow-up of contracts and budgets.
* Monitor KPIs such as revenue growth, margin development, distribution expansion, and promotion ROI.
2. Commercial Manager – Out-of-Home Channel (Convenience)
Scope of the Project
As Commercial Manager OOH – Convenience, the consultant is responsible for delivering revenue, margin, and P&L objectives within the Out-of-Home convenience channel.
You will develop and implement commercial strategies that drive sustainable growth and strengthen partnerships with distributors and their network of customers.
This role requires a results-oriented and analytical professional with strong negotiation capabilities, able to optimize distribution and availability in a fast-moving market environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management
* Develop and implement commercial strategies for the convenience channel.
* Negotiate assortment, promotions, activations, and pricing strategies.
* Strengthen relationships with distributors and their customer networks.
* Manage the full P&L for your customer portfolio.
Market & Data Analysis
* Analyze channel data, market insights, and consumer trends.
* Identify new commercial opportunities and translate them into action plans.
* Collaborate with Category Management and Revenue Growth Management teams.
Forecasting & Performance Management
* Ensure accurate revenue, volume, and promotion forecasts.
* Monitor KPIs such as distribution, revenue growth, margin development, and promotional ROI.
Operational Execution
* Ensure strong execution of promotions and commercial initiatives.
* Maintain administrative follow-up of commercial agreements and budgets.
3. Commercial Manager – OOH & Field Sales Management
Scope of the Project
As Commercial Manager OOH / Field Sales Manager, the consultant combines strategic account management with operational field coordination.
You are responsible for driving commercial performance in the Out-of-Home channel while ensuring best-in-class execution through external field teams.
This position requires a hands-on commercial leader with strong negotiation, coordination, and people management skills, capable of translating strategy into perfect in-market execution.
Key Responsibilities
Field Team Leadership & Execution
* Lead and coordinate external field teams.
* Define KPIs and execution guidelines for field agencies.
* Ensure high-quality reporting and performance monitoring.
* Maximize distribution and visibility at the point of sale.
Out-of-Home Account Management
* Manage a portfolio of OOH customers.
* Negotiate assortment, promotions, and visibility agreements.
* Manage customer P&L and commercial budgets.
Commercial Planning & Growth
* Develop and implement commercial growth plans.
* Identify new opportunities through data analysis and market insights.
* Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and RGM.
Operational Excellence
* Ensure flawless execution of activations and promotions.
* Monitor KPIs such as distribution, revenue growth, margin development, and promotion ROI.

Profile & Experience
We are looking for experienced interim professionals with the following background:
* Master's or Bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing, or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG commercial roles, preferably in key account management, retail partnerships, or Out-of-Home channels.
* Strong negotiation and commercial development skills.
* Analytical mindset combined with a results-driven approach.
* Ability to translate insights into actionable commercial strategies.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Hands-on mentality with attention to operational excellence.
* Fluency in Dutch, French, and English.
Reporting Line
For these assignments, the consultant will report to the Sales Director Belgium / Sales Director Retail Belgium, depending on the specific project.
