We are currently looking for an Operations Officer – Corporate Actions to join a major banking client in Brussels within the Securities & Investments domain. Mission Context You will join the Client Servicing Securities Invest team, responsible for managing corporate actions on securities held by clients. This includes notifications, instruction collection, accounting, and reconciliation, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality service to ensure client satisfaction. Your role will also contribute to managing risks related to Capital Gain Taxation (CGT) in a fast-paced operational environment. Key Responsibilities Process Corporate Actions operations in an accurate and timely manner Contribute to the prevention and mitigation of operational risks related to CGT Ensure correct taxation of client transactions Maintain and enrich databases with acquisition prices of securities Execute VBA-based processes (runners) Monitor operations and quickly identify anomalies Collaborate closely with team members and escalate issues when necessary Contribute to overall service quality and client satisfaction Profile Education Bachelor degree in Finance or equivalent by experience Minimum 1 year of relevant experience Languages Dutch and/or French – Good communication skills English – Basic knowledge Experience & Skills Mandatory Strong expertise in Excel High attention to detail and accuracy Nice to have Knowledge of HARM & TPX tools Understanding of securities, corporate actions, and taxation Soft Skills Detail-oriented and rigorous Strong organizational and structuring skills Ability to detect anomalies, even in repetitive tasks Fast learner and adaptable Team player with a collaborative mindset Customer-oriented approach Flexible and able to work under deadlines This is a great opportunity to join a key operational team in securities services, combining data accuracy, financial operations, and risk management in a dynamic banking environment.
