Within our Data Driven Unit, we help companies become smart and data-driven organizations and strengthen their market position. To expand our unit, we are looking for a Data Migration Consultant to help our clients with their digital transformation.
In this way, you will make an impact:
1. As a Data Engineer, your role is to build a data migration
2. You ensure that the data from the source systems is converted to fit the target system
3. You will develop the selections, conversion rules, controls and everything needed to move the data
4. You ensure that the data migration is complete and correct, and that our client can successfully deploy the new system filled with data
Where you're going to get started
Within Data Foundation & Strategy, we help our clients become intelligent, data-driven organizations. As a consultant, you will end up in several sectors with the goal of implementing and guiding our portfolio of data services. We work for major players in finance, pharma, industry and government to support business and IT in the realization of projects and programs across the entire data value chain. This can involve projects within data architecture, data strategy and governance, data transformation, data foundation projects, and so on.
This is you
Who we’re looking for
5. At least 2 years of experience as a Data or Software Engineer;
6. You have an affinity for data, data structures and data mapping;
7. You have knowledge and experience with data modeling and relational algebra;
8. You have knowledge and experience with SQL and preferably with Microsoft SQL Server;
9. You work accurately and precisely;
10. You have analytical thinking, communication skills and a practical attitude;
11. Knowledge and experience with programming languages such as C# (Microsoft .Net) is an advantage.
12. You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus.
