Responsibilities
1. Hands-on, site-based engineer to review and steer the full electrical execution scope (LV/MV/HV where applicable), ensuring safe work practices, technical quality, and rapid issue resolution.
2. Acts as the link between the Owner’s office-based Electrical Engineer/Manager and the E&I Superintendents on site.
3. Interface between:
4. Owner’s Electrical Engineer (office)
5. E&I Superintendents / Contractors (site)
6. Majority of time on site.
7. Key Responsibilities
8. HSE oversight for electrical works (full scope incl. HV): PTW/LOTO, energisation rules, switching coordination (HV where applicable), toolbox talks, hazard identification, stop-work authority.
9. Field execution review: verify installation and methods against drawings/specs, identify constructability issues, ensure compliance and readiness.
10. Troubleshooting & corrective actions: detect deviations early, coordinate with engineering to solve issues, support RCA and close-out.
11. Contractor supervision & coordination: monitor progress/sequence, enforce method statements, manage interfaces between disciplines.
12. Quality & completion: inspections, punch list, walkdowns, support testing & commissioning readiness (incl. HV interfaces when relevant).
13. Reporting: daily field status, risks, blockers, and required engineering decisions.
Requirements
14. Strong background across electrical power scope (distribution, power, earthing, protection, interfaces), with HV exposure as part of the overall scope.
15. Proven field supervision experience in industrial environments.
Strong HSE mindset + ability to challenge unsafe execution.
Practical, hands-on, can bridge office engineering and site execution.
