About The Role
As a
Senior DevOps Engineer
, you will embrace a Principal-level scope, holding accountability for setting standards and making crucial technical decisions. You will become the go-to authority for CI/CD and release engineering, significantly shaping our desktop software landscape while collaborating with teams globally.
Key responsibilities
* Own and govern CI/CD
, build systems, and release engineering across our
Desktop Software ecosystem
* Define, standardize, and implement reproducible, containerized
Windows build environments
and dependency management
* Design and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines integrating
physical hardware, drivers, and firmware
* Unify fragmented pipelines into a compliant and
auditable platform
* Manage
release engineering
end-to-end, including versioning, signing, packaging, validation, and promotion
* Ensure
comprehensive traceability
from commit to clinical distribution with secure practices
* Serve as the escalation and
decision-making authority
for CI/CD and hardware-automation issues
* Collaborate closely
with Architecture, Quality, Regulatory, Cybersecurity, and delivery teams
What we're looking for
We require a dedicated professional with extensive experience in managing CI/CD and release platforms across diverse teams or products.
* Extensive expertise in Windows build ecosystems (
.NET, MSBuild, CMake, MSVC
)
* Experience with reproducible, containerized
Windows build environments
* Proven ability to
deliver software
in regulated, constrained environments
* Hands-on experience integrating hardware in CI processes (
USB, BLE, drivers, firmware
)
* Strong
communication and leadership skills
for influencing without direct authority
* Prior experience in regulated industries like medical devices, automotive, or aerospace is beneficial
