As a Business Developer for the BE/International Market at Paperbox, you'll play a key role in driving our growth in the Netherlands. You'll own the full sales cycle: from prospecting and engaging with potential customers, to running demos, shaping business cases, and closing deals.
You'll be the face of Paperbox for insurers and brokers in the Netherlands, showing how our AI Agent Clara transforms their operations. Working closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product, you'll help us expand our Dutch footprint and build strong, long-term customer relationships.
This is a full-time role with flexibility for remote work and regular travel within the Netherlands.
With over 50 customers in insurance, we have nailed down our ICP and value proposition.
We're currently focused on expanding into the Netherlands market as our primary growth engine, with plans to scale into the UK thereafter. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of sales in the Netherlands, converting early adopters into long-term customers and accelerating our growth.

Quality, then speed: Own the full sales cycle in the Netherlands: prospecting, discovery, demos, business cases, negotiations, and closing
Execute go-to-market strategy focused on Dutch insurers and brokers
Tailor our value proposition to Dutch market needs and regulatory context
Manage complex buying cycles (IT, compliance, procurement)
Partner with Marketing on campaigns, events, and thought-leadership content for the Dutch market
Share market insights with Product to help shape our roadmap
Represent Paperbox at industry events and networking opportunities in the Netherlands
B2B SaaS/Enterprise Software sales experience is a plus
Strong hunter mentality – you love prospecting and opening new doors
Strong communication and negotiation skills in Dutch and English (French is a plus )
Comfortable navigating compliance, IT, and procurement requirements
CRM discipline and data-driven forecasting (HubSpot experience a plus)
Entrepreneurial spirit: self-starter who thrives in a scale-up environment
Team player who works well across Marketing, Product, and Customer Success
Willingness to travel regularly in the Netherlands
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Native Dutch proficiency
Experience in insurance or financial services industry
