Do you enjoy tinkering with powerful machines?As a mechanic, you ensure that every truck and trailer is in great condition before hitting the road! Our client is an established name in the transport sector and offers customized total logistics solutions. In their modern workshop, you will work alongside a close-knit team of technicians who ensure that trucks and trailers are perfectly maintained on a daily basis. You will carry out maintenance and intervene where necessary. No two days are the same – and your impact is significant. - You will carry out preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units (Carrier/Thermoking). - You will repair brake systems and lighting and carry out minor bodywork repairs. - You will prepare vehicles for inspection and be responsible for technical checks. - You will optionally carry out diagnostics on trucks. - You will work closely with drivers and colleagues from the transport department. 1. You have experience or training as a mechanic (do you often tinker with vehicles as a hobby? Be sure to let us know!).
2. You can work independently, but also collaborate easily in a team.
3. You are flexible and enjoy working in a structured environment.
4. You are willing to perform weekend checks (1 in 5 weeks).
5. You are motivated and want to continue learning.
Opleiding: /
Vakkennis: You have basic knowledge of auto mechanics and electricity. You have experience with trucks or trailers OR want to grow in this area.
Talenkennis: Good knowledge of English
Attesten: You preferably have a CE driver's license or are willing to obtain one through the company.
Wat bieden wij jou?
6. Work schedules: 5 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. + Saturdays 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

8. You will work day shifts during your training and then switch to the two-shift system
9. You will work in a well-equipped garage with modern tools
10. You will have a varied job in a stable and growing transport group
11. You will be part of a team of five motivated colleagues
12. Hourly wage between: €16.24 and €18.50

14. Permanent contract after a successful temporary period
