Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Accountant at Foundey. The Accountant will handle daily operational accounting tasks, including processing financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and preparing financial statements. Responsibilities include monitoring compliance with financial regulations, reconciling accounts, managing payroll, and supporting financial audits. The Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and will play a key role in optimizing financial processes.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Reporting;
* Knowledge of Tax Compliance, Budget Preparation, and Audit processes;
* Experience with accounting software, and financial management tools such as WaveApp or Quickbooks;
* Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to handle complex financial data;
* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities;
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
* Understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including GAAP or IFRS;
* U.S. CPA or other professional accounting certifications are a plus;
* Prior experience in compliance or governance-related roles is an advantage.
