Job Description About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage the accounting and financial follow-up of Joint ventures involved in project-based activities. The Senior Accountant will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The position also includes a supporting leadership component, as the Senior Accountant will progressively act as back-up to the Team Leader of the department. Key Responsibilities Manage the full accounting cycle for several Joint Ventures. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly reporting. Ensure accurate bookkeeping, including journal entries, reconciliations, and closing processes. Monitor cash flow, project costs, and partner allocations. Prepare partner reporting and financial summaries for joint venture participants. Coordinate with project managers, partners, auditors, and external accountants. Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and internal procedures. Assist with audit processes and provide required documentation. Improve and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls. Act as back-up for the Team Leader, supporting coordination within the accounting team when required.
