About The Role
An organisation in the
energy sector
is looking for a
Windows System Engineer (Junior/Medior)
within its Digital Workplace division.
The mission focuses on managing, deploying, and maintaining all devices used by end users across the organisation, including laptops, desktops, VDI, virtual machines, smartphones, and tablets.
This is a hands-on operational role with strong involvement in device lifecycle management, Intune/Autopilot configuration, packaging support, and onsite interventions across Wallonia.
A minimum of
4 days per week onsite in Gosselies
is mandatory.
A valid driving licence and personal vehicle are required due to mobility needs across other sites.
Responsibilities
* Install and configure Windows-based devices
* Perform device staging through Intune, Autopilot, and WhiteGlove
* Support the packaging and deployment of simple Windows applications
* Provide L3 support for device-related incidents and enrolment issues
* Monitor, tune, and maintain device performance
* Handle KIR (Keep IT Running) activities
* Manage requests originating from business users
* Follow up with hardware, software, and service suppliers
* Produce documentation, procedures, reports, and KPIs
* Maintain accurate inventory and asset management information
* Ensure proper administration through MDM platforms while upholding data quality
* Provide onsite support across various locations in Wallonia
Required Skills
* Experience in asset management and device lifecycle (stock, EOL, reporting)
* Strong knowledge of MDM tools
* Expertise with Windows 10/11 (installation, configuration, troubleshooting)
* Solid experience with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot enrolment
* French proficiency at C2 level (CEFR)
Should Have
* Strong troubleshooting capabilities for enrolment and hardware-related incidents
* Experience in monitoring and tuning Windows devices
* Knowledge of endpoint management for PC, VDI, VM, smartphones, and tablets
Nice to Have
* Knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIS standards
* Experience with PowerShell scripting
* Experience in a large enterprise environment (>2000 users)
* Basic experience in simple packaging and application deployment

* Strong ability to follow operational procedures
* Reliable and able to work independently
