Purpose of Job: Asset management for Beacon assets throughout the life cycle
Job Description:
* Manage, at a working level, workshops and suppliers for maintenance delivery and provide co-ordination for technical and supply problems
* Delivery of asset inspection process and undertake detailed asset inspections particularly during heavy maintenance
* Co-ordination and long-term planning of heavy maintenance and modifications
* On-site management of small-scale engineering projects
* Oversee full-service and heavy maintenance contract delivery liaising with the Fleet Planner and supplier
* Reporting, investigation and management of incidents affecting fleet safety and reliability
* Identify, support development and implement plans to improve the reliability and maintainability of the fleet to maintain competitive advantage
* Support the Technical Team with information on the fleet and maintenance delivery
* Support the Fleet Manager as required in the asset management of the fleet
* Provide cover for the Fleet Manager and Fleet Planner for leave and sickness
* Delivery of ECM responsibilities and ability to manage functions II, III and IV
