As Customs & Logistics Senior Business Analyst, you are responsible for driving operational excellence across customs and logistics functions in the EMEA region. This role will ensure compliance with international trade regulations, optimization of logistics processes, and support strategic decision-making through business intelligence and continuous improvement initiatives. The analyst will also act as a key liaison for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O deployment related to customs and logistics. This is a temporary/interim role for the duration of the D365 implementation (estimated duration: 3 years) based in Petit-Rechain, Belgium. Accountabilities Process Documentation & ERP Alignment:
Lead efforts to map and document current logistics and customs processes, partner with stakeholders to define and design future processes aligned with best practices and the new ERP system (D365). Identify gaps and propose scalable solutions, collaborate with ERP teams to ensure requirements are incorporated, and create detailed specifications and process diagrams. Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates. Project & Continuous Improvement:
Analyze and improve logistics flows, identify cost-saving opportunities, lead projects from initiation to post-implementation, and promote lean practices and continuous improvement. Business Intelligence & Analytics:
Design Power BI dashboards, conduct root cause analysis, ensure data integrity, and automate reporting processes. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Present findings to leadership, train users, and collaborate with internal and external partners to align strategies. Skills & Knowledge Experience with carrier implementation and/or customs in Europe Knowledge of international trade regulations (EU, GCC, African Union) Project management experience, Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred Strong analytical and communication skills Proficiency in Power BI and Excel Fluent in French and English Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O is an asset Desirable skills: dangerous goods handling, multimodal transportation, various shipment sizes Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Openness to new technologies and digital solutions Our offer This position is a Global Grade 12 role with a salary range of €57,000 to €81,000 (paid in 13.92 installments).
