Mission
* Define and execute a commercial strategy to build and grow a sustainable client portfolio in the North region, in line with Syngenia's vision of proximity, customer intimacy and long-term partnerships.
* Identify, qualify and prioritize high-potential prospects within the target market by deeply understanding their business, industrial context and staffing challenges.
* Translate client needs into value-driven solutions, working closely with management to craft tailored pitches and proposals that align with both client objectives and Syngenia's strengths.
* Proactively generate new business opportunities by identifying key decision-makers, activating your network, owning lead generation and executing targeted outreach and cold-calling campaigns.
* Lead business development meetings end-to-end, from first contact to trusted advisor status, with a strong focus on relationship building and credibility.
* Negotiate commercial and contractual terms, ensuring clear alignment between client expectations, operational delivery and Syngenia's business objectives.
* Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for your client portfolio, taking full ownership of client relationships and acting as the bridge between customers and the Syngenia ecosystem.
* Work in close collaboration with sourcing and recruitment teams to ensure flawless execution of contracts and long-term client satisfaction.
* Monitor performance and pipeline efficiency by maintaining accurate and transparent reporting in the CRM and delivering clear monthly progress updates.
* Report directly to the Sales Manager Belgium, contributing actively to national sales dynamics and continuous improvement initiatives.
Profile
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business management, engineering or a related discipline, providing a solid foundation for both commercial and technical discussions.
* Minimum 3 years of professional experience in business development, ideally within engineering staffing and/or consultancy, with a demonstrated ability to grow accounts and close deals.
* Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, combined with a proactive, opportunity-driven mindset and genuine customer focus.
* Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively across teams, functions and management levels in both formal and informal settings.
* Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a strong asset, supporting Syngenia's national and international growth ambitions.
