HSE Manager (50%) & Production Supervisor (50%)

Overview
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional to join our team in Olen in a dual role as HSE Manager (50%) and Production Supervisor (50%). As part of a small, dedicated site team within a multinational organization, you will play a key role in driving a strong Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) culture while also supporting and coordinating daily production activities.
This position offers a unique opportunity to combine strategic oversight in HSE with hands-on operational leadership, contributing directly to safe, efficient, high-quality production for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
HSE Manager (50%)
1. Implement, maintain, review and continuously improve HSE policies, procedures and management systems in line with corporate standards and local regulatory requirements.
2. Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable HSE legislation, regulations and internal guidelines.
3. Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, safety audits and workplace inspections.
4. Lead HSE training programs, awareness initiatives and emergency preparedness activities onsite.
5. Monitor, analyze and report on HSE performance, identifying trends and driving corrective and preventive actions.
6. Act as a key ambassador for HSE, promoting a strong safety culture based on engagement, ownership and accountability.
Production Supervisor (50%)
7. Support the Production Manager in the day-to-day planning, coordination and execution of production activities.
8. Assist with administrative and operational tasks such as scheduling, reporting, documentation and workflow organization.
9. Ensure that all production activities are carried out in accordance with safety, quality and operational standards.
10. Monitor production performance to improve efficiency, reduce downtime and meet delivery targets.
11. Provide guidance and support to production personnel and help resolve operational challenges.
12. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (maintenance, quality, logistics, etc.) to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
Key Focus Areas
13. Safety: Maintain and continuously promote a safe working environment, leading by example in all HSE matters.
14. Quality: Ensure production consistently meets internal standards and customer requirements.
15. Efficiency: Support process optimization and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
16. Proven experience in HSE management and/or production supervision in an industrial environment.
17. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards and best practices.
18. Experience in a food, feed or similar regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
19. Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
20. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative leadership approach.
21. Ability to effectively manage and balance responsibilities across two complementary roles.
