On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is recruiting experienced and detail-oriented candidates for an open vacancy as a Quality Control Inspector in Waterloo.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled quality professional who takes pride in precision, accuracy, and maintaining high manufacturing standards. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience using precision measuring equipment and interpreting technical drawings in a manufacturing environment.
Candidates without direct experience using precision measuring tools in a manufacturing setting will not be considered.

Pay Rate: $./hr + 4% vacation pay added to each cheque weekly
Shift:
Days – Monday to Thursday: 7:am – 4:pm
Friday: 7:am – :am
Required Measuring Equipment Experience
Candidates must have hands-on experience using:
1. Vernier calipers
2. Micrometers
3. Height gauges
4. Angle gauges / protractors
All candidates will be required to complete a measurement assessment during the interview process. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.
Job Responsibilities
5. Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections to verify product dimensions and tolerances
6. Use precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet customer and engineering specifications
7. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and quality documentation
8. Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records
9. Identify and report non-conforming materials and assist with investigations and corrective actions
10. Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain product quality standards
11. Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality objectives
12. Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
13. Previous experience in a Quality Control or Quality Inspection role within a manufacturing environment
14. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
15. Proven experience using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and angle gauges
16. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
17. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
18. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
19. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
20. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Assets
21. Overhead crane experience
22. Valid forklift license
