About Our Client
Join a leading international group's retail entity based in the heart of Brussels. The finance team consists of 5 professionals, and you will report directly to the Accounting Manager. The role is varied and challenging, offering excellent learning opportunities. The position comes with an attractive gross salary and includes 2 days of remote work per week.
Job Description
* Manage general accounting and monthly/annual closings.
* Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and CAPEX postings.
* Process sales, COGS, and intercompany transactions.
* Reconcile payroll and maintain accounting archives.
* Support system/process improvements and ad hoc projects.
* Prepare financial reporting, tax filings, and cash flow analysis.
* Assist with audit preparation and execution.
* Support Accounts Payable operations and supplier management.
The Successful Applicant
* Fluent in French, Dutch is a strong asset.
* Proven experience as an independent accountant.
* Strong knowledge of taxation.
* Experience in an international company is an advantage.
* Familiarity with a corporate environment is a plus.
* Team player with good interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in SAP is an advantage.
* Able to work autonomously and manage varied accounting tasks.
