We are looking for a Qt Developer to join a long-term mission within the railway sector, contributing to the modernization of a mission-critical traffic and safety management system. The system is being re-engineered in iterations, and the role focuses on developing and maintaining Qt-based user interfaces, covering both legacy and modernized components. Depending on experience, the candidate may also take a technical lead role within the team.
Main Responsibilities
UI Development & Maintenance
Analyze, design, and implement UI features within the traffic management system
Develop and maintain Qt-based user interfaces with high precision and reliability
Produce technical documentation for software modules and system components
Contribute to design decisions and engineering practices
Support the team throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Engineering & Safety
Participate in safety and security-related activities such as Threat & Risk Analysis (TRA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Ensure code reliability and precision due to operational impact on railway traffic
Work comfortably across high-level architecture and detailed design levels
Contribute to engineering methodology, tools, and team organization
Profile / Requirements :
Technical Skills
Expert knowledge of Qt / Qt Framework
Strong C development experience
Experience developing complex UI systems
Linux development and debugging environment
Git (version control and collaboration)
Nice-to-Have
Rust, Java, Python experience
Experience in safety-critical environments or railway signaling systems
