To support the growth of customer projects in the railway sector, we are looking for a Medior/Senior Program / Project Manager to reinforce the Delivery team, responsible for customer project delivery, supply chain coordination, and operations.
The role focuses on the deployment of on-board railway signalling systems on new or retrofitted locomotives and trains. A railway and industrial background is therefore essential.
The Program Manager will be supported by a dedicated system and architecture team; deep technical expertise is not required.
Your Role
Reporting to the Chief Delivery Officer, you will lead customer projects and programs end-to-end, ensuring successful delivery in terms of quality, cost, timeline, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
Manage projects/programs from initiation to delivery (planning, budget, risks, quality, costs)
Lead Steering Committees and manage business cases and change requests
Act as the main customer interface, including contract adaptations and negotiations
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including authorities and partners
Oversee certification and safety-related activities in collaboration with internal experts
Ensure quality assurance and supply chain coordination
Prioritize activities while balancing technical, financial, and delivery constraints
Provide clear internal and external reporting
Profile / Requirements :
Profile
Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in the railway industry
Proven experience as Program or Project Manager on complex, multidisciplinary and safety-related projects
Experience with on-board signalling systems; knowledge of Class B and/or ETCS is a strong asset
Industrial project background
Hands-on, pragmatic, and adaptable
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Fluent in English; French is a strong plus (other European languages are an asset)
Willing to travel occasionally within Europe
