A hands-on leadership role for those who thrive outdoors, guiding teams through technically challenging lifting and transport projects. At Sarens Projects, you coordinate, supervise, and coach teams to ensure every operation runs safely, smoothly, and to the highest standards.
What you will do
* Coordinate and oversee daily lifting and transport activities
* Verify equipment readiness and certificate compliance
* Conduct on-site SHEQ inspections
* Review lifting plans and validate their accuracy
* Assist crane operators with crane preparation and setup
* Lead start-work meetings and align the lifting setup with the team
* Provide technical and safety guidance during lifting and rigging operations
* Resolve ad-hoc issues on site and document findings
* Communicate regularly with Project Managers and Site Managers
* Act as the day-to-day point of contact for clients on operational matters

About you

Required skills and experience
* Minimum 5 years of on-site experience in heavy lifting with crawler lattice boom cranes or special transport (SPMT, Strand jacks etc)
* Background as Site Supervisor or similar operational role
* Knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics
* Ability to read and interpret lifting plans
* Fluent English skills (spoken and written)
* Basic computer skills
* Flexible approach to tasks, schedules, and locations across Europe
Optional and valued qualifications
* Lifting certificates, critical load lifting certification, VCA
* Foreman training certificate
* Additional safety or technical training related to lifting and rigging
