The Job
As a GNSS Data Logging Field Surveyor, you are responsible for collecting high-accuracy geospatial data using advanced GNSS receivers, total stations, and data collectors. Equipment Setup & Maintenance: Set up, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot surveying instruments to ensure reliable and accurate measurements in the field.
Data Processing & Quality Control: Download, process, and validate raw survey data using specialized software (e.g. GIS, CAD) to meet accuracy and quality requirements.
Survey Operations: Perform land measurements including distances, angles, and elevations; recover and document existing monuments; and set stakes or markers as required.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare clear field notes, reports, maps, and documentation describing survey methods, results, and observations.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to integrate survey data into design and construction workflows.
