What is the internship about? The internship is a great opportunity to put both your theoretical knowledge and practical sense into action as you will start your internship on the field to subsequently make actionable recommendations about how to optimise Gus Foods’ operations. Your internship will therefore be divided in 2 main parts: PART 1: Get to know Gus Foods operations (warehousing, deliveries, replenishment of the fridges, technical maintenance and installation of the fridges,) in depth by practically experiencing every step of the supply chain with a critical lense. PART 2: Identify actionable opportunities to optimise Gus Foods’ supply chain, present your recommendations to Gus Foods’ Co-founders and put some of the selected opportunities into action. You are pursuing a masters degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business/Economics; You are hands-on, proactive, rigorous, result-oriented and a good communicator; You have an interest in food, sustainability and have a little humor; You are free for a minimum of 4 months (ideally 6); English French/Dutch - being fluent in Dutch and French is a plus; Previous work experience in Supply Chain/Logistics is also a plus.
