As a fast expanding company in Belgium we are looking for one Area Manager Retail, to cover Namur Region, (B), Luxembourg(B), Luxembourg country, and part of Henegouwen(B).
Established in 2001, Laminam quickly acquired a leading position in the global market for its large ceramic slabs offered in a wide range of surfaces, sizes and thicknesses.
The company's internationalization process is constantly developing with the recent openings of Laminam Benelux, Laminam Germany, Laminam UK.
You will join a company:
- With an international outlook with presence in the United State, Canada, Europe and the Far East with a series of partnerships and sales offices in several countries and important distribution centres in strategic locations around the globe
- Which is continually innovating and evolving offering high quality surfaces featuring refined designs and using sustainable production processes
- Develop and maintain current product knowledge to present to Furnishing Interiors, Kitchen & Bathroom and Interior Design Retailers
- Identify and take the opportunities to maximize the visibility of Laminam products to generate sales leads.
Your tasks:
- Ensure customers have adequate marketing materials to support sales, including samples, brochures, and other collateral supplies, such as display towers.
- Manage customer relationships by resolving client concerns, plan weekly visits and track progress in our CRM Sales Force System
- Increase market share by elevating the number of displays and point-of- purchase materials within assigned area
- Build and maintain good relationships with clients based on mutual trust and respect
- Promote our Online-Order platform Click'n'Cut and manage price agreements with existing and new customers
- Attend and provide post-sale service
- Work with General Manager and Sales Team to execute a business and pricing strategy for all retail segments in the area (K&B, Furnishing, Tile dealers, Interior Designers, etc).
- Train in the characteristics and the attributes of the product, provide information, deliver marketing tools relevant to the client's.
What are we looking for?
Background
Preferred although not essential, a sales background in the furniture industry ideally related to products for Kitchen & Bath Retailers with showroom experience.
Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in B2B sales in retail, preferably in the kitchen industry.
Knowledge
- Be knowledgeable of the construction industry as a plus
- IT Fundamentals (basic functions): Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (and the Internet)
- Salesforce or similar CRM System
Other
- French speaking with English/Dutch knowledge is a must
- Clean driving licence
- Demonstrate ability to interact and build value-based relationships with customers
- Negotation skills
